How does it work?

Upload a photo of your pet, your partner, your family, whoever you love. Pick a style and our AI artist renders them as a gallery piece, giving you a few variations to choose from. Choose your size and frame, and we print and ship it framed. The creation part takes about 60 seconds. Prefer to start from a written description instead? You can do that too.

What kind of photo works best?

A clear, well-lit photo with your subject facing the camera gives our AI artist the most to work with. One main subject per photo. If you want a full-body pose or room around them in the final piece, upload a full-body shot. Phone photos are perfect, you do not need anything fancy. Already have a finished piece of your own you just want printed and framed? Email hello@pentimento.art and we will help directly.

How long does shipping take?

About 5 to 9 business days from order. We dispatch within 48 hours of your purchase, then it ships tracked from the production hub closest to you. You get an email with tracking when it leaves the warehouse.

Question 4

What if my piece arrives damaged or the print is not right?

Accepted Answer

Send us a photo and we will remake it once and ship a fresh framed piece, free. There is nothing to mail back, since a one-of-one piece cannot be resold. If it is still not right after the remake, email us within 30 days of delivery and we will sort it out with you.

What sizes do you offer?

Seven sizes: four rectangle (12 by 16, 16 by 20, 18 by 24, 24 by 36 inches) and three square (12 by 12, 16 by 16, 20 by 20). Every size works with every frame color, in portrait or landscape orientation where applicable. The piece is scaled to look right at whichever size you pick.

Tell me about the frames.

Slim 12mm wood-finish profile in four colors: black, white, light wood, and dark wood. Shatter-resistant acrylic glazing instead of glass, lighter and safer in transit. Sawtooth hanger pre-installed; takes a single screw to mount.

How long will the print last?

Accepted Answer

Gallery-grade inks on 200gsm coated silk paper, tuned to resist fading under normal display conditions. Keep the piece out of direct sun and it will look the same in years as it does today.

Can I see it in my room before I buy?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every artwork page has a room visualizer that scales the piece accurately into a living room, bedroom, or hallway preview. You can also upload a photo of your own wall to see the piece in your actual space.

What about copyrighted artists?

Accepted Answer

We deliberately avoid generating work in the style of specific living artists or referencing copyrighted characters. Our style references go to art-historical movements (Impressionism, Bauhaus, Color Field, ukiyo-e, etc.) rather than individual living artists. Prompts that mention a living artist by name are blocked at the prompt-moderation layer.

How do free credits work?

Two free generations when you land — each one renders three image variations to choose from. Drop your email and we add 3 more (5 total). Add a piece to your cart and two things unlock: 2 free refinements on that exact piece (with a back arrow to revert), plus 10 more free generations to find a second piece for any room. Frame two and the whole order is 20% off. Want more room to play? Start a Studio Session for $30 and get 20 generations to find the perfect piece — credited toward whatever you ship.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship to the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and most of the EU. International orders may incur customs duties or VAT depending on your country — those are paid by you on delivery, not by us at checkout. More countries coming as we expand fulfillment partners.

Can I become a partner artist?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We are accepting applications for our artist program where you earn 20% on every piece sold from your collection. Apply on the Artists page.
